Accepting God's Provision

Sometimes, we have a student post to a discussion board or turn in an assignment that is just too good not to share. One of our students, Stephen Owino, posted the following in his notes for our Crown Financial course. Be blessed as you read and consider this:
"God expects that all that we have be transferred to Him and Him alone, acknowledging and accepting that He owns it all. I pray that everyone under the sun knows that we are only stewards and managers of what belong to Our Heavenly Father. And we should manage in a way that pleases Him. He is completely in Control.

Accepting God's provision is what brings full contentment, just being happy where you are, with what you have, trusting The Lord on your way to where God is taking you tomorrow. Being able to bless someone else while you are going through your own storm. Being able to say Thank You Lord even if you don't get what you want. Believing that all that The Lord gives is what He has provided to direct our lives. Even though He may withhold financial abundance in our lives sometimes, He expects us to live on what He provides.

I have leant that a good way to reduce debt in my life is to develop discipline in spending habits..thus learning to be content in any circumstances in Life as Paul says in The book of Philippians. This has been my greatest weakness . But now I know what to do. We should learn to serve God first and all other consideration come after that. Let wealth and riches of this passing world not entangle us that we forget the Provider, where everything comes from.

Help me Lord to be content in my Provision and to know that All things comes from You and that they should bring me more and more closer to You my God. Amen."
