We're a little late with the announcement, but we are happy to offer a special congratulations to Irene Akinyi and Millicent Otalo for being selected as this week's Students of the Week.

Irene is a teacher, counselor and visitor coordinator with Made in the Streets. Irene teaches English classes and provides counseling services to former street children. She is a strong believer in equal opportunity for all and the possibility of positive change in all individuals regardless of social status, religious back ground and past experiences.

Millie is a Warehouse Coordinator in Nairobi Kenya. She works for a Amani ya Juu, which means, “Peace from Above”, a social economic enterprise committed to peace and reconciliation for African women.

On top of their work and family schedules, they continue to excel in their studies at HOPE School. For being recognized this week, Irene and Millicent will each receive a Safaricom data/voice bundle worth 750KES. Our best wishes to them and all of our HOPE School friends this weekend.
