Congratulations to Joel Njue for being selected this week's Student of the Week. Joel is the director of student affairs at Made in the Streets in Kamulu, Kenya. We are fortunate that he has joined our HOPE School Cohort 2 this year.  We are always amazed at the commitment to learning our students demonstrate, even though they live such busy lives.

Joel has done a remarkable job this term (and especially this week) on his assignments and class discussions. In one of his courses (Lead Like Jesus), Joel shares this with his classmates in the online discussion:
I really appreciate this lesson because it opens our eyes as a reminder that we have a purpose in life in line with what God wants us to achieve. We should not just go through life without thinking about this .

My big take away this week is that God is aware and is watching us and because of that, all of life becomes a worship experience. I just love the sound of that!

We are so proud of Joel and the work he does as part of HOPE School and even more for the work he does for the poor and orphaned in Kenya.

For being recognized as Student of the Week, Joel will receive a Safaricom data/voice bundle worth 1500KES. Our best weekend wishes to Joel and all of our friends on Facebook. Have a blessed weekend!
