We're pleased to have formalized an agreement with the Center for Africa Volunteers. CAF organizes hundreds of volunteers across Africa and works closely with the Ministry of Education, Kenya Parents Organization, County Education Offices and many, many others. They contacted us recently and requested that we provide training for their volunteers and administrative team, reminding us that Kenya is in great need of Christian leadership training. They want to enroll their program leaders in our courses, requested us to provide training for their volunteers, and have invited our students to work alongside their volunteers.
In the agreement, they write, "...Kenyan communities are undergoing problems whose root cause is poor leadership and irresponsible citizenry. Research, however, has proven that if individuals are trained to take active responsibility through leadership training, they will not only change their lives but will also influence the society to take personal initiatives to remedy any unbecoming situation in the society. It is thus proposed that in every ward in Kenya, two volunteers be trained by HOPE School in servant leadership, who can in turn become a guide to the rest of their community."
We're thankful that they have reached out to us and we are thankful that we are in a position to help. We look forward to a long and meaningful relationship with this worthy organization and its membership.
