HOPE School is pleased to announce the hiring of its newest team member, Catherine Njambi. Catherine will serve as a student facilitator, providing daily support to students as they work through their online courses. Catherine will work primarily with over fifty Cohort 3 students, who make up the HOPE School of Leadership Class of 2017.

Catherine is married to Douglas Angogo, and together they have a baby girl who will be turning 11 months old in January. Her educational background is in Communications, Public Relations and Christian service. Catherine holds a diploma in Journalism and Media Studies from the East African School of Media Studies. She also holds a certificate for Christian Service from Get Focused Kenya.

Catherine has worked previously as a Project Coordinator at Goldmines Foundation, Head of Reception at Kenya Institute of Professional Studies and as a Senior Cyber Attendant at Skynet Cyber Cafe. She has also done volunteer work at Truth FM, which is a Christian Radio station and Swahiba Youth Networks, a non-governmental organization based in Kibera.

Catherine loves reading and helping out in community work. She also enjoys writing and hopes to start her own blog soon. She adds, "I have a passion for teaching and mentoring young women in the area of Purity, Purpose and Identity. I'm a student with HOPE School of Leadership (Cohort 2) and I'm truly humbled to start working with them in 2016."
