Does boiled water still contain oxygen?
Yes, boiled water does still contain oxygen because the physical process of boiling does not break down the hydrogen-oxygen bonds within water molecules. Boiling is simply a physical process that relies on heat to kill harmful microorganisms like bacteria and viruses
Can the heat from the sun actually boil water?
Sunlight can make water very hot, but the sun alone does not boil water. Instead, the UVA and UVB light penetration from the sun kills harmful contaminants, viruses, and bacteria. In places where the temperature reaches 100°C, the water will simply steam or evaporate before it boils.
