CANVAS Smart Phone App

The Canvas Student app allows students to access their HOPE School courses using a mobile device. Students can submit assignments, participate in discussions, view grades and access course materials. The app also provides access to course calendars, to-do items, notifications, and announcements.

Even if you do most of your coursework on a laptop or desktop computer, it is still highly recommended that you download and use the mobile app on your phone. In fact, our records show that students that use the mobile app are much more successful and engaged than students who do not. 

When you log in to your canvas student app for the first time:

When you open the Canvas App for the first time, click on the FIND MY SCHOOL button.
Type in canvas.instructure.com in the SEARCH BAR. Check your spelling and click on GO. 
Ensure canvas.instructure.com is listed at the top of the login page. Use your email address and password to log in.  
Click on the HOME option to read the course introduction and to begin your assignments.
